October All-Stars: Our Best and Brightest

Here at Mountain Kids, we believe every child deserves a chance in the spotlight. That’s why we’ve created our monthly All-Star series to showcase outstanding athletes when we notice them shine.

From little movers to super stars to ninja warriors, our All-Stars of the month lead the way with confidence, courage, and most importantly, good sportsmanship.

Without further ado, here are our October All-Stars!

GYMNASTICS

Annabella DaGiau

Class: J.O. Level 4 Team

Age: 13

Favorite thing about gymnastics: Tumbling

What I want to be when I grow up: A Teacher

My favorite subject in school: Band, I play the clarinet

What my coach loves about me: “Anabella is a superstar! She works hard, always has a great attitude and is a great team leader. If I had to pick one word to describe Annabella, it would be perseverance.

Sarah Oxenhandler

Class: Super Star

Age:7

Favorite thing about gymnastics: Flips!

What I want to be when I grow up: Someone who competes in gymnastics

What my coach loves about me: “Sarah is always positive and comes to the gym ready to work hard. She is truly a joy to coach!”

If I were an animal, I would be: A cheetah, because they’re fast

Vivienne Gustofson

Class: Moonbeamer

Age: 2

Favorite thing about gymnastics: The trampoline

What I want to be when I grow up: A ballerina

What my teacher loves about me: “You are so amazing, you do such a great job in gymnastics. I adore you and I am so happy I’m your teacher!”

If I were an animal, I would be: An owl

Sydney Cusack

Class: Rising Stars III

Age: 10

Favorite thing about gymnastics: Floor exercises

What I want to be when I grow up: An author

My favorite subject in school: Art class

What my teacher loves about me: “Sydney is a very strong, dedicated, fun and awesome gymnast! I love having Syd on preteam, she sets a great example for all!”

Aubrey Bray

Class: Sunflower Hip Hop

Age: 8

Favorite thing about dance: Learning new dance moves

What I want to be when I grow up: Dancer and singer

What my coach loves about me: Aubrey always shows up with a ready-to-learn attitude. She is always willing to learn new moves, and practices until she nails it!

My favorite subject in school: Music

Lily Demchuk

Age: 5

Favorite thing about dance: The recital!

What I want to be when I grow up: A singer

What my coach loves about me: “Lily is a FIRECRACKER! Her energy is contagious and she always comes in with a smile! Keep it up!”

My favorite subject at school: Playtime

What I want to be when I grow up: A teacher!

What my teacher loves about me: “Reiss is so enthusiastic! She is always coming to class with a smile on her face.”

If I were an animal, I would be: A zebra, because they have cool stripes

What I want to be when I grow up: A musical theater actress on Broadway

What my teacher loves about me: “Amma is very dedicated and dances with passion and energy. She is focused, hardworking and a joy to have in class!”

If I were an animal I would be: A koala

Camden Johnson

Class: Ninja Zone Yellow

What I want to be when I grow up: A professional baseball player

What my teacher loves about me: “Camden is a role model for everyone in the gym! He is always working hard and paying attention. Keep up the awesome work!”
